PUBLIC TRANSPORT VS. DRIVING

From public transport to your own two feet, there are many ways you can get yourself where you need to go.
For those who can’t afford to buy a car, public transport is probably the only option for getting around town.
There are many studies on the topic, most conducted by transport organisations favouring trains and buses as the cheapest method of travel. That’s probably true. However, there are many other considerations when it comes to deciding whether you’re going to become a regular car user or one of the masses heading to work on buses and trains.
Most of us know using public transport is better for the environment and can even offer a cheaper and quicker route. But in reality the number of cars on the road is continuing to rise.
Therefore, in this week’s task we’ll look at the pros and cons of both forms.

Have you ever thought about getting rid of your car and use public transport instead for your daily life? I am sure you have considering the amount of time we spend on transit.
To begin with, I will present some advantages for the use of public transport such as, this one is less stressful as you don’t need to be focused on the road and you can just seat and relax, read or even talk to other passengers. But the greatest advantage of using public transport is that various studies have shown that it is safer that using your car.
On the other hand, there are several significant disadvantages such as relying on the departure times of the public transport what can add more time to our trip. Many people claims that it takes longer to get to your destination due to the regular stops and in today’s society time is gold.
Taking all the above into account, I believe that using public transport is much more convenient than driving your own car for being safer and cheaper although there are difficulties overall “advantages” weight more than disadvantages.

Public transport Vs Driving. Discuss
In today´s world people are constantly moving and travelling. There people who use their car daily, while others believe that it´s better to go by public transport. Which begs the question: is preferable go by public or private transport?
To begin with, I´d like to outline the advantages of public transport. One of the main arguments in its favour is that you can increase your physical activity while you go from one transport to another. You can also go relaxed, enjoying a conversation or reading.
On the other hand, in public transport you can´t stop where you want and therefore enjoy the freedom that your own vehicle offers you. Also in your own car you can carry many more things.
On balance, I believe that public transport brings an overall advantage because it’s better for the environment and our mental and physical health.
